    An anonymous donor came forward with $3,000 at the end of the evening to support one of the other projects: Colin Kidder and Eli Gold's Diamond in the Rough. The two proposed installing a colossal disco ball made of donated bike wheels on the side of the Sears building....

    Kristan Huntley, community director for the Cooper-Young Community Association, is pictured with the trophy sculpture awarded to Cooper-Young for winning "The Smallest User" contest. Designed by U of M graduate art student Colin Kidder, the nearly 6-foot, tubular sculpture has a coating of special paint that will absorb sunlight by day and glow at night.
