I am a working artist currently living in Memphis, TN, where I was born. My work is about different kinds of human relationships, from lovers to adversaries. Themes of balance and tension between people are throughout.

I like work that is emotionally and psychologically interesting, that touches on deep and relevant feelings. I urge the viewer to think: about the control that banks have over our economic freedom, about the possibility of being confined to a wheelchair, about the stuffiness of the white box gallery, about the environmental impact of wastefulness, about questioning faith.

Although the medium of my art varies, I have an appreciation for minimal forms. I like art that is not straining in its wit, but I do believe that humor is one of the greatest political tools.  I am trying to change the world, but I'll take my time.
